Introduction

This website has been created by Louise Géraud, Larissa Baloran, Fiona Godin, and Roman Hudson as an interactive learning resource about recycling and the environment. This resource is meant for middle school aged students with the goal of creating a better understanding of their effect on the environment. Instructional material, activities, and assessments are included. Enjoy!

Learning Objectives

By the end of the lesson students are expected to demonstare their undersatnding of recyling and composting by compelting three learning objectives.

• By the end of the lesson students will be able to explain the importance of recycling and composting in relation to the environment and themselves using a poster. 

• By the end of the lesson students will be able to match different items of recycling, compost, or garbage to their correct bin. 

• By the end of the lesson students will be able to categorise items of recycling, compost, and garbage into separate groups.
